Here's welcome news when you're doing the Otago Central Rail Trail as a group.
Getting there and back, and even having an accompanying support vehicles, is a whole lot easier and more comfortable in a late model, coach-built Hanson Rentals luxury 12 or 9 seater minibus.
Here's just some of the ways you can use a Hanson minibus
- One way from Dunedin Airport or your Dunedin accommodation to the start of the Rail Trail at Middlemarch or Clyde.
- There and back. Rent from Hanson. Do the trail using the minibus as a support vehicle and return to the Hanson depot in Dunedin or Clyde.
- Queenstown bus journey and Clyde hire. We can organise for your group to be bussed to Clyde and the waiting Hanson minibus to use as a support vehicle and also for visiting off-trail treasures like St Bathans, Naseby, Macraes and others. Then either return the minibus to Clyde or carry on to the Hanson depot in Dunedin.
- These are just some possibilities. The best idea is to call us with your plans so we can customise a rental to fit. Who knows, after doing the trail you may want to add on a tour of the Catlins or visit the sounds. And what better way to do this than in a Hanson luxury minibus.
Our minibuses are late model and coach-built, not cheap conversions. All have a high roof for ease of movement and a feeling of spaciousness when travelling. Seating is front seat standard giving support in all the right places. Appointments include individually adjustable climate-control and ventilation, CD player. I-Pod port and more. There are also the options of diesel or petrol and automatic or manual.
Where keeping costs down is a high priority, we also offer a 12 seater budget minibus. It's 1990 to1999 and comfortable but not to the same specifications as our luxury minibuses.
